Furniture
Individual hand crafted tables, chairs, benches, bookshelves and meditation stools. Made from native hardwoods, oak, ash and elm. Sourced locally from fallen or dead standing trees and branches, also reclaimed, often weathered timber, posts, beams, etc.
Garden
Old roving bobbins re-turned to carry balls of garden twine replaced by removing the top flange. These have lovely worn colours, also spools of jute on brass ended spinning bobbins to hang in home or garden.
Kaleidoscopes
Made from old bobbin centres or hardwoods with patinated brass lens hood and eye piece. Brilliant ever changing mandalas of light and colour, composed of objects viewed through the spherical lens.
Time Glasses
Time glasses are made from bobbin drive flanges and brass rods, the glasses are accurate to a few seconds.
Toys
Toys made from salvaged wood and parts of textile bobbins. Stylised vintage steam engines and racing cars etc.
